This 15 minute power Pilates is a full body super efficient workout! You will feel inspirited and strong when you finish this one. So, grab your light free weights, and let’s get started.
The workout begins with a flowing upper body warm up which should feel great and relaxing. We then work into stretching our hamstrings, legs, and ankles with some leg peddles in downward dog. This is followed by a plank section with some downward dog to bear variations to work core stabilization muscles as well as shoulders. Consequently, we will enjoy a shoulder strengthening section where we work those strong goal posts – a Fittbe favorite! This is followed by classic Pilates abs with a bit of an upgrade and some inspiration from Barre as we add in some pulses and holds working the isometric contractions. A side section will follow where we work both our inner things and our waists, sweeping up into a side pike position for just 8 on each side, but of superior quality as always. After just a few variations on a Pilates push up, we’ve earned some lovely hamstring stretches where we simply let our upper bodies fold forward, relaxing into our stretches, and letting tension and stress fall away.
