Pilates is an incredible foundational workout to target core strength, full body balance, tone and coordinated movement. It’s exceptional for cross training, and the perhaps the best part is that the more you do it, the more you actually get out of each workout because you have learned to create a feeling of resistance in your own body, and have found that mind-body connection!
Barre is one of the most effective and efficient workouts of our time! It’s graceful, yet totally strength based and will help you raise your fitness level with intelligent techniques like using light free weights and repetition, isometric muscle contraction, and blend it all with Pilates-esque core work.
When it comes to Yogalates workouts, think a blend of Pilates and Yoga. Plenty of strength and balanced based moves combined with slower moving core work and stabilization plus stretches. A feel good, calm, but still challenging workout system you’ll love!
