Lightened Banana Bread Recipe

This banana bread is an all time favorite recipe! It’s not too sweet, and just the ideal treat to have with an afternoon tea. We hope you love it.

Ingredients for Lightened Banana Bread

1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Agave nectar

2 Eggs

1 1/2 cups mashed ripe banana

About 2 mashed bananas 

Half up chopped walnuts

Method for Lightened Banana Bread 

Whisk together: 

1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

With your electric mixer, beat together 5 tablespoons butter with just shy of a 1/2 cup agave nectar – we use .44 cups, or 143 grams.

Beat in 2 eggs 

Next add in about 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe banana 

And a half a cup chopped walnuts

Spread the batter into the pan. Bake about 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out cleanly. Allow to cool completely!
