Spiced nuts are a great high protein treat, and a great gift too! Here’s our favorite way to make them.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees, and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk 2 egg whites with a tablespoon of water, set aside.
Mix ½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ tsps cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon rosemary finely chopped
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Cayenne to taste!
4 cups of your favorite nuts. Raw. We love almonds, walnuts, and pepitas.
Mix the egg mixture with the spice mixture, and add in the nuts.
Spread the nut mixture evenly on the baking sheet
Bake for 25 – 30 mins
Package them beautifully as a gift, or put them in a glass jar for your pantry!
