These healthier chocolate chip cookies are almost decadent tasting as they are thick and quite gooey. Much due to the eggs! The mini chocolate chips really add a lot to the recipe, and if you love walnuts (so healthy), we recommend you add some of them too.
Ingredients for healthier chocolate chip cookies
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup peanut butter, cashew butter, or other nut butter
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
- 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 3/4 cup cups almond flour
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips some mini, and some regular size
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts if you like!

The method for these cookies is so easy, so for those times when you’re just craving an afternoon treat, these are the best.
Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees
Start with the wet ingredients: Mix together 2 eggs with 3/4 cup peanut butter (or your favorite nut butter). Add in 1/3 of a cup maple syrup and set aside
Wish together 3/4 cup or rolled oats with 3/4 cup almost flour. Next mix in 1/4 tsp baking soda with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/3 tub kosher salt.
Mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients together. Now, add 1/2 cup chilled walnuts and 1/2 cup regular chocolate chips.
Use an ice cream scoop to get pretty evenly sized cookies spaced apart on a cookies sheet lined with a silpat.
Bake at 350 Degrees for about 15 minutes.
